On the 16th of September, The Arike Kidney Foundation held its first ever Meet & Greet!
We are thrilled to share a heartwarming recap of our Community Meet and greet.
The day was nothing short of incredible, filled with inspiring moments, valuable insights, and strengthened connections.
Highlights of the Event:
1. Sharing Stories: Our community members bravely shared their personal kidney transplant journeys, shedding light on the challenges they’ve also faced post-transplant.

2. Expert Insights: Our guest speaker, Dr. Hammed Oguntade, a nephrology doctor, enlightened us with valuable advice on living a healthy lifestyle and kidney best practices. His informative session, coupled with his willingness to answer your questions, left us all more informed and empowered.

3. Networking and Recognition: After the insightful Q&A session with the doctor, we captured memorable moments with photographs. The breakout sessions allowed each of us to introduce ourselves in person, creating stronger bonds and putting faces to the names we know so well from WhatsApp.
4. Creativity and Connection: Some of us explored our artistic sides through a painting activity, while others continued to interact and connect. The event was a true celebration of the diversity and resilience within the Arike Kidney Foundation’s community.
